PUFF PASTRY
Puff pastry is one of the core laminated doughs students learn in culinary school. You will have the opportunity to make your own puff pastry from scratch following the directions provided by your chef instructor. While you are rolling and folding your dough, you will have the opportunity to use pre-prepared puff to make sweet and savory treats. The chef instructor will also demonstrate other baked goods that can be made using puff pastry, from apple turnovers and fruit tarts, to a spinach and feta savory tart. You will bring your own puff pastry dough home with you, along with the treats baked in class.
