Refundable minus a $30 processing fee if canceled at least 72 hours before arrival.

Best Flexible Rate:

Advanced Purchase Rate:

HouseKeeping
Stayover Service: Light Stayover Housekeeping Services is available every Day.
Guest Room Sanitation Prior to Arrival:
Disinfecting: Sanitation chemicals proven to kill 99.9% of all germs and viruses will be used in guest rooms prior to guest arrival.
8-Point High-Touch Cleaning: A checklist of frequently touched areas in each guest room will be maintained, to ensure that they receive extra disinfection.
Smoking Policy
The Essex Resort & Spa is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking of any kind, including the use of tobacco products, cannabis, and vaping devices, is prohibited in all guestrooms, hallways, stairwells, and public spaces. A $300 room recovery fee will be charged to the registered guest if smoking occurs in a guestroom.
Taxes & Fees
Taxes: 9% Occupancy Tax, $3.50 VTDMF per day is added to all reservations
Spa Amenity Access
Access to spa facilities (Sauna, Steam Room, and Relaxation Lounges) for overnight guests is available at an additional cost of $10 per adult, per night please contact the resort directly to add spa access to your reservation. For Reservations and Group Rates that include a Resort Fee, spa access is automatically included at no additional cost.

Pet Policy
We are delighted that you are visiting and have chosen to bring your dog to be part of your stay. To ensure a comfortable visit for you and for our other guests, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
Please register your dog prior to checking into your room.
A $150 non-refundable pet fee per stay will be added to your bill.
Your dog is not permitted in any guest room except for the one which they have been registered in.
Per Vermont State law, The Essex Resort does not charge for SERVICE Animals. (SUPPORT animals are not exempt from pet fees).
Please note that your dog should not exceed 75 pounds, and there may only be one dog per room.
Your dog must always be on a leash or in a kennel and you may not leave your pet unattended at any time.
Health Department regulations require that your dog is not permitted at any time in any dining outlets, pool areas, Spa, or Fitness Center. Dogs are welcome on the Patio of The Lazy Goat Tavern by entering from the gardens.
We ask that you be curteous and responsible by always cleaning up after your dog.
To ensure that other guests at The Resort are not inconvenienced by noise, we ask that you always keep your dog quiet. Each complaint of noise will incur a $100 disturbance fee. If our team must contact your more than once, you will be asked to make arrangements for your dog to stay at an onnsite boarding facility for the remainder of your visit. The pet fee will not be refunded once the dog has stayed in the guest room.
Please contact the front desk to schedule housekeeping service at times when your dog is not in the room. Please plan so that your dog is not in the room during the time of service you have set with our team. Otherwise, we will not be able to provide the service.
The Essex Resort, parent company, agents, and team will not be responsible for liability involving your dog with respect to property damages, injuries, and any other incidents.
There are a limited number of designated pet friendly guest rooms located on property. Select pet friendly rooms are thoroughly cleaned and treated for potential allergens. Rooms are based on availability.
